I teased you so much. Admittedly, it was cruel of me. I didn't know how else to break the tension though. I truly apologize for not being the same old person you so desperately wanted me to be. Perhaps, I should have told you about the hell that was my life but, I suppose, the right moment to tell you never came. I tried but I always hesitated when I saw that look on your face. If I close my eyes, I can easily picture your look of disgust and your eyes searching for something that's no longer there. You're not very good at hiding how you feel.
