I know we don't know each other very well but there was a time when we did.
It was a long time ago. The life in which we somehow became close with one another happened many, many lifetimes ago. Your heroism saved me during that lifetime, but it was only a bandaid for the bigger issue. I was saved for only a moment. It was a small moment that didn't last as long as I wish it could have.
Nonetheless, I appreciated our time together. Being around you was easy. Perhaps, I didn't have to hide as much during those times when we were alone with one another. Maybe it was easier to forget my worries while in the presence of your exuberance.
I never knew that a monster and a hero could befriend one another until you showed me otherwise. Thank you.
I wish I could see your smile one last time.
